Characteristics of thermally modified wood:
Thermally modified wood is a tree that has been formed under the influence of a particularly high temperature (up to 260 ° C), as a result of which it has lost high resistance to fungal and biological damages, similar to wood, walls and thermal insulation power and high wear resistance
Power of thermotree:
- hygroscopicity – the tree stops absorbing water; if the middle is completely covered with water, no more than 8% of the water will accumulate at the last hour;
- stability – preserves geometry and dimensions,
- durability – resistance to mechanical damage, it is important to avoid stains, dents on the surface;
- thermal conductivity – reduced by 10-30%, suitable for use in “underfloor heating” systems, as well as for saunas, lazen;
- safety – preserving naturalness, environmental friendliness, upgrading to the class of immersiveness, thermal wood is weakly ignited and flares up badly;
- decorativeness – the texture is clearer, brighter, more intense and uniform in color, the color changes throughout the thickness of the board;
- durability – not affected by fungus, bacteria, comas;
- aroma – preserves the smell of natural wood.
